James Fu

James Fu is an active independent traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) practitioner who has practised acupuncture and herbal medicine for more than 20 years. He obtained his Bachelor Degree of Medicine in 1984 from Jiangxi College of Chinese Medicine and a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture in 1987 from China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Beijing. He has treated patients with chronic pain in Wasser Pain Management Center, Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto.
James Fu is also an educator who enjoys teaching as much as practising. As a faculty member, he taught on a 4-year full time acupuncture program at The Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences. Currently, he is teaching at the TCM program at Ryerson University.
