Ruth Pike

Ruth Pike has a Ph.D. in Applied Psychology. During her for twenty-four year tenure as professor at the University of Toronto, she was active in university governance and served on numerous committees, including the Governing Council. She was a Visiting Scholar at Teachers College, Columbia University in New York, Hebrew University in Jerusalem and at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. Her years of experience in consulting and contract research primarily pertained to quality assurance issues and program evaluation in education and in professional regulation.
At the present time, she is Chair of the Benefits Committee and a member of the Executive Committee and of the Senior Scholars Committee of the Retired Academics and Librarians of the University of Toronto (RALUT). She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Elizabeth Fry Society of Toronto.
