On Monday, June 27, 2022, the College’s Executive Committee and Registrar met with representatives of the Alliance of TCM and Acupuncture of Ontario. Discussions involved updates from the College on items such as the Chinese Language Entry to Practice Examination, Dr. Title Working Group, CARB-TCMPA TCM Education Program Accreditation Project, the College strategic plan, and other important College projects. The Alliance provided the College on important updates from the profession. The College also spent significant time addressing questions from the Alliance.
The College has committed to continue open communications and meetings with the Alliance and other stakeholders so that the profession can stay up-to-date and engaged in the regulation of the profession. In that respect, we would like to remind members that they are welcome and encouraged to observe Council meetings, which happen on a quarterly basis. This is a great way to stay informed on the regulation of the profession. You can find the schedule here.
Furthermore, another way for members to stay engaged with the College is to become involved with us directly, and help us carry out our mandate of protecting the public. Currently, we are recruiting for non-Council members to serve on Committees of the College. For more information, please see here or our Get Involved with the College page.
