While the date for when members can resume their practice as normal has not yet been announced; the Ministry of Health continues to plan for the eventual reopening of the entire health sector. In anticipation of this, The College will soon be releasing return to work guidance documents to help members minimize the risk of infection in their practice.
Members may wish to begin preparing now by reviewing their personal protective equipment (PPE) supplies. If you are looking to increase your supply of PPE, but are having difficulty sourcing it, the Provincial Government has put together a directory of PPE suppliers in Ontario. This directory can be found here. Please check this directory for the alternative options available to you.
The College will continue to inform members of information coming from the Provincial Government and how it may affect their practice.
