There will be an election of professional members to serve on the Council of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario.
Two council positions are available for members practicing in District 1 – North East.
One council position is available for members practicing in District 2 – Central East.
The term of council members is three years. To run as a candidate, please submit the nomination package to the College by August 20, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. EST.
Electronic ballots will be sent to your preferred email address on or before September 29, 2020. The last day to vote is October 29, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. EST.
We encourage you to participate in the election, either by running as a candidate or casting a vote. Your participation will give you an opportunity to make an impact on the regulation of the traditional Chinese medicine profession in Ontario. Remember: Council Members do not represent the District they are from, but serve to regulate the profession in the public interest.
Please note that if Council remains unconstituted after the results of the elections have been confirmed, new Council members who are elected will begin their term at the next regular Council meeting. Until then, the Council member who currently holds that seat will continue their term.
