There will be an election of professional members to serve on the Council of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario. Successful candidates will serve on the College Council with the mandate of protecting the public interest and guiding the profession. The College is looking for dedicated individuals with an interest in serving the public and their community to nominate themselves for a seat on Council. If this interests you, please consider nominating yourself as a candidate.
- Two council positions are available for members practicing in District 1 – North East. (Term ending 2026)
- One council position is available for members practicing in District 2 – Central East. (Term ending 2026)
- One council position is available for members practicing in District 3 – Central (Term ending 2024)
- One council position is available for the members practising in District 5 – West (Term ending 2025)
To run as a candidate, please submit the nomination package to the College by August 15, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. EST.
Electronic voting ballots will be sent to your preferred email address on or before September 26, 2023. The last day to vote is October 26, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. EST.
We encourage you to participate in the election, either by running as a candidate or casting a vote. Your participation will give you an opportunity to make an impact on the regulation of the traditional Chinese medicine profession in Ontario. Remember: Council Members do not represent the District they are from, but serve to regulate the profession in the public’s interest.
