The College has developed the Standard of Practice for Fees and Billing. It was approved after public consultation, and will go into effect on April 1, 2021. This Standard sets out the expectations of members in their billing practices. Please note, that it does not set the fees members are permitted to charge for their services. We encourage you to review the Standard to ensure you are following the correct practices.
Standards of Practice set the minimum requirements for professional practice. It is important that the College reviews its Standards periodically, as they inform members of what is expected of them, and help patients understand what to expect when seeking treatment from a member of the College.
