The College has updated the Standard of Practice for Record-Keeping. It was approved after public consultation, and will go into effect on January 1, 2021. This update includes changes to the format of the Standard, and does not include any major changes to the requirements on member. However we encourage you to review the Standard to ensure you are following the correct practices.
Standards of Practice set the minimum requirements for professional practice. It is important that the College reviews its Standards periodically, as they inform members of what is expected of them, and help patients understand what to expect when seeking treatment from a member of the College.
