Appointment of Deputy Registrar and Director of Statutory Programs

The College is pleased to announce the appointment of Stamatis Kefalianos as Deputy Registrar and Director of Statutory Programs.

Stamatis comes to the College with his MA in Public Policy and Administration from McMaster University and a solid background of over 10 years working in health regulation in Ontario. He began working at the College of Nurses in 2005 as a policy analyst and moved to the Transitional College of Kinesiologist of Ontario in 2012 where he helped develop the regulatory and administrative framework to govern the profession of kinesiologists and to develop the College moving from a transitional to full operations health regulatory College in 2013.

Most recently, as Director of Registration with College of Kinesiologist of Ontario, Stamatis ensured the college’s registrants and examination processes fulfill the College’s legislated regulatory environments, as well as recommending improvements to the policy and procedures related to registration.

Stamatis will be a great addition to the College and we look forward to him joining our team on January 3, 2017.
