The College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO) is very pleased to announce that on July 19, 2016, the Council unanimously appointed Mr. Allan Mak as the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer pursuant to section 9 (2) of the Health Professions Procedural Code of the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991.
Mr. Mak has been with the College since April 2012 in various capacities including the Director - Administration and Professional Practices, the Acting Chief Executive Officer from June to December 2013 and most recently as the Interim Registrar and Chief Executive Officer since February 2016.
The Council expressed its appreciation to Mr. Mak for his leadership during the interim period and confidence in his ability to continue leading the College in meeting its mandate for regulating the profession in the public interest.
