Mr. Martin Perras has recently stepped down from his position on Council. He has served on Council since 2017. We wish Martin well and thank him for his time and contribution to Council.
To fill the Council vacancy, a by-election will be held for a position on the Council of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario for District 1 – North East. This position will complete the remaining term ending in 2020.
To run as a candidate, please submit the nomination package to the College by August 20, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. EST.
Electronic ballots will be sent to your preferred email address on or before September 27, 2019. The last day to vote is October 29, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. EST.
We encourage you to participate in the election, either by running as a candidate or casting a vote. Your participation will give you an opportunity to make an impact on the regulation of the traditional Chinese medicine profession in Ontario. Remember: Council Members do not represent the District they are from, but serve to regulate the profession in the public interest.
