Nominations have closed for the election for District 3 – Central. The College is pleased to announce that Ryan Tze-Wai Longenecker and Justin Wei-Kit Lee have been acclaimed to the Council.
Council currently remains unconstituted due to the fact that Council does not have the minimum number of public members as required under the Traditional Chinese Medicine Act, 2006. As such, the new Council members will begin their term at the next regular Council meeting when Council becomes constituted. Until then, the Council members who currently hold their seats will continue their term.
The commitment of those on Council to ensure the College meets its mandate to regulate the profession in the public interest is appreciated.
