The Ministry of Health is continuing its recruitment of healthcare workers to increase the frontline capacity of hospitals, clinics, and assessment centres. The province has launched a new online tool that will help match skilled frontline workers with employers, which can be found here. This portal will match the availability and skillsets of health care workers to the employers in need of assistance to perform a variety of public health functions, such as case and contact management.
The College believes this is a great opportunity for members who wish to assist in slowing the spread of COVID-19 and have been greatly encouraged by the number of members who have shown interest so far.
