All members in the Grandparented Class were to successfully complete the Prior Learning Assessment (PLAR) process by July 1, 2017. The Council of the College has approved an extension of the deadline to complete the PLAR process to October 31, 2017.
This extension is granted only to Grandparented members who have attempted the PLAR process prior to the July 1, 2017 deadline and were unsuccessful.
Members who are granted this extension must follow these terms:
- Grandparented members who were unsuccessful with the PLAR process prior to July 1, 2017 will have until October 31, 2017 to successfully complete the PLAR process.
- Transfer applications must be submitted to the College by November 1, 2017, which will be held pending upon successful completion of the PLAR process.
All Grandparented members must transfer to the General Class of Registration by March 31, 2018, as all Grandparented Class certificates will expire on April 1, 2018.
