Please note, regulated health professionals, including traditional Chinese medicine practitioners and acupuncturists, may continue to operate during the province-wide emergency brake shutdown period in Ontario that will come into effect on Saturday, April 3, 2021, at 12:01 a.m., consistent with current guidance for regulated health professionals.
There are no changes to the scope of care traditional Chinese medicine practitioners and acupuncturists are permitted to provide resulting from the government's announcements.
CTCMPAO members must continue to follow the requirements set out in the Chief Medical Officer of Health Directive 2, COVID-19 Operational Requirements: Health Sector Restart, and the College's Return to Practice Guidance Document.
All members are expected to continue to follow strict infection prevention and control protocols to prioritize the safety of their patients, staff, and community.
The College continues to closely monitor the situation for any new directions from the Ministry of Health. Please visit the College website regularly for any further updates.
