The Ministry of Health released an updated version of the COVID-19 Patient Screening Guidance Document on August 26, 2021.
Key highlights include:
- Updates to reflect screening for fully immunized individuals, including a reordering of the screening questions
- Updated symptoms list
Members are required to use the screening questions in the guidance document to screen their patients for COVID-19. This screening should take place over the phone prior to the appointment, and when the patient arrives for the appointment.
